This helps prevent tunnelling and encourages an even burn throughout the life of the candle.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTrim the wick to approximately 5mm before every burn to reduce soot, promote a steady flame and extend the life of your candle.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBurn your candle for no more than 2 to 3 hours at a time. This helps protect your Jesmonite vessel from excessive heat and prolongs its lifespan.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs Jesmonite is a handcrafted material, slight variations in colour and texture are part of its unique character. While durable and heat resistant, it should always be used with one of our candle refills and cared for according to the instructions above. Sometimes, specially in our lighter jars, some staining may occur inside the jar from the fragrance oils in the candles.
